Our Mission
WHO WE ARE
Our mission is to provide help throughout the world by finding those people that have the most need and meeting those needs. Global missions of Tennessee is a nonprofit organization that was started by volunteers to help connect those who depend on others and those who can help. America is the most generous nation in the world and when asked to help those who are desperately in need, we believe that we will answer.
We work with communities all throughout this country to send small and large shipments all over the world filled with humanitarian goods for those who have the most needs. We do this with the belief that all people are created in the image of a Loving God and that we should show that same love for one another.
OUR CORE BELIEFS
The desire and goal for all Christians should be to proclaim the saving gospel to all nations.
Matthew 28:19-20
In order to accomplish the Great Commission and share the gospel throughout the world, we must have a servant’s heart. This means we go to those in need and assist other countries and people without expecting anything in return because of what has been given to us.
Galatians 5:13
The most important duty of teaching others can only be accomplished at times by administering to their physical needs first.
Matthew 25:34-40
WHAT WE DO
As we have opportunity, let us do good to everyone, and especially to those who are of the household of faith. (Galatians 6:10)
Global Missions works to meet the needs of people throughout the world by sending shipments of products including medical, personal hygiene, safety/PPE, clothing, shoes, food and other necessities. We send these commodities through shipments depending on the needs of those locations. We rely upon donations for these commodities either directly or via funds raised. Our main goal is to connect those who have need and those who can meet those needs.
LOVE
We show others our love by providing funds to meet their needs and make their life better.
ENCOURAGEMENT
After they know that we care for them, we can continue to encourage them and develop a relationship with them.
TEACH
Once we show them we care, we can explain to them why we care and teach them about God and his plan of salvation.
